The Turbans is an international musical collective bringing together exciting traditional near-eastern and eastern-European styles and original compositions, to create a modern and energetic performance with reverence for its ancient roots.
PURO DE OLIVA
"Puro de Oliva" is the title of a new show created by the Spanish Brass quintet and great pianist Chano Domínguez.
IBERIAN COLOURS
Maria Camahort quintet, is a journey through the relationship between Spanish Classical repertoire and influences from Iberia’s traditional music. Traditional music in Spain has long been an important source of inspiration for many Spanish composers. The guitar, as the predominant instrument of Spanish folk heritage, was one of their main sources of inspiration.
FARAFI
Farafi is a project based on musical fusion. It weaves the colors of traditional african music together with contemporary folk music.
Darlini Singh Kaul & Joy Tyson are at the core of Farafi and create an eclectic collection of traditional, vintage and original songs. These two very skilled vocalists are in constant collaboration with a platform of fellow musicians which shapes a fresh and dynamic musical world.
DJANAN TURAN
Djanan Turan is a singer songwriter of Turkish origin, based in London. Her solo work that has been released is consisting of a Turkish album, 2 EP’s in English and 3 singles. Their live set is a vibrant, melodic and fun mixture of various influences from raga to Turkish beats, cabaret to disco.
